Reconciliation Week 2025
This week we remember the Stolen Generations- the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were taken from their families.
This week we remember the Stolen Generations- the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were taken from their families.
We acknowledge the hurt and the sadness caused by this in the past.
Many of our students were involved in activities this week to deepen their understanding of National Sorry Day.
It is a time to remember what happened, show understanding, and move forward towards reconciliation and healing.
Reconciliation Week 2025 (until June 3rd) is a week-long celebration and opportunity for our children to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and achievements.
SLC students visited the Portarlington Pier to view and sketch the Wadawurrung art installation as part of their Sorry Day / Reconciliation Week studies.
